God and Patrick Kavanagh

$150.00

The enormously popular Monaghan-born Irish poet, Patrick Kavanagh (1904-1967) – widely considered a national treasure – pursued a lifelong inner dialogue in his tender and harshly beautiful lyrics concerning the mystery and reality of God. By turns mystic, nature poet, realist, and grim humorist, Kavanagh intuited the profound importance of faith and grace in the Irish imagination.
