In this class, we will take a look at the text Witches, Druids, and King Arthur by Ronald Hutton, an academic expert in the fields of folklore, mythology, and paganism. This course will examine the nine essays that cover a variety of topics related to myth and its creation, how it manifests in our everyday lives, and how writers such as J.R.R Tolkien used paganism to inspire modern fantasy.

Required course text: Witches, Druids, and King Arthur (2006) by Ronald Hutton.
