Pre-Intermediate Irish (Saturdays)

 This level is for anyone who needs to bridge between a Beginner level and starting to feel comfortable with speaking at a basic conversational level. Participants will learn useful phrases and useful pieces of grammar to construct basic sentences, build vocabulary, and start to increase confidence in speaking.

From the instructor: “People taking this course should (i) be familiar with and able to reproduce frequently used greetings and small talk in Irish; and (ii) speak, in simple detail, about where they live, daily routines, and things they like or dislike. This class is taught in English and class discussions are in English. There are speaking and written exercises that require some expression in Irish, and exercises that build oral and written comprehension skills. (working towards CEFR A2).”

Class enrollment: 8 people minimum per course/max 16 people.

8 Zoom sessions: Saturdays. 10:00 – 11:30 am CST. September 21 – November 9.
