Overview

In our “Bricks and Mortar” Home, CJAC:

  • Provides a free, ongoing Community Covid Testing Program
  • Hosts a quarterly “Social Hour” for all its collaborating organizations
  • Produces the Irish Arts Week  featuring the best of Twin Cities Irish Cultural Organizations
  • Conducts Cultural Tours for schools, adventure groups and YMCA organizations with hospitality and entertainment
  • Employs and produces Local Artists anywhere and everywhere (newest locale; Can Can Wonderland!)
  • Holds weekly Sunday Sessions

For Neighborhood Organizations CJAC: 

  • Supports Hamline Midway Coalition’s Food and Mother/Baby goods drive with the Hamline-Midway Coalition
  • Hosts our inaugural Red Cross Blood Drive onsite
  • Works with the St. Paul Arts Collective Launch, connecting artists and audiences
  • Sponsored our local Scottish Fair onsite on our beautiful Outdoor stage 
  • Home to the Midway Pop-Up Shop onsite – with 14 local vendors & 300+ attendees
  • Sponsors YuleFest, now 10 years running!!

At MN Irish Businesses/Entities CJAC:

  • Produced the Funds for Ukraine Concert
  • Sponsors Irish Night with the St. Paul Saints – 5 years going!
  • Brings School Tours and programming, with cultural outreach to 3-4 schools annually
  • Features at Fairs and Festivals (MN State Fair, the Mac-Groveland Festival, Union Park, Merriam Park  & Rec, Marydale, and other Twin Cities’ festivals and events) & Washington County Fair and World Fest 
  • Contributed to St. Paul’s Park Conservancy’s commemorative plaque marking the land shared by the Irish as “Connemara Patch” and by Native Tribes of Native Dakota peoples.
  • Freezes happily at European Christmas Market at the Union Depot – our last (chilly) performances of the year!
  • Partners with Pantages Theater to host Lughnasa and The Dakota Jazz Club to host Altan!

With Midwest/Regional Cultural Organizations CJAC: 

For National Cultural Organizations CJAC:

  • Represents MN at NICCoNA (for the 6th year)with the Embassy at NYC’s Consul General
  • Speaks at the Irish Echo Awards (4 years running), focusing on Rebuilding Irish America
  • Attends the National Folk Alliance Festival
  • Works with Irish Central twice this year, and was part of their social media campaign promoting Irish-made gifts
  • Featured in the podcast Irish Stew
  • Recommended our first MN-based participant in the WIC (Washington Ireland Program) 
  • Hosts honored guests in receptions and events for our Consulate and Embassies, including 6 Vice Consuls, 5 Consul Generals, and two Ambassadors (Christine Anderson, Dan Mulhall

With International Institutions CJAC:

  • Produced our first collaborations with Fishamble’s director Jim Culleton, & Origins Theater’s Mick Mellamphy
  • Participates with Ireland’s Youth Event for Creative Ireland.gov: CruinniĂş na nĂ“g 2021 June 12th, 2021 and To Be Irish
  • Engaged with Ireland’s Heritage Tree Program to plant 100 native trees in a grove in Cork
  • Collaborates with our sister cultural center Aonach Mhaca
