New Acquisitions: Archival Items
New Archival Storage Supplies: We continued to use the donation by Fergus and Ann McKiernan to purchase archival boxes, phase boxes for rare books and document sleeves to house physical materials from Dr. Eoin McKiernan.
New Cassette Tape Player: We purchased a new We Are Rewind portable cassette player made by Retrospekt to use for cassette digitization.
Festival of Nations Programs: We purchased four programs from early Festival of Nations events held in St. Paul in 1936, 1939, 1947 and 1949.
Mary Callaghan Long: The Long family generously lent us their family photo album so that we could digitize photos from Mary Callaghan Long’s collection including a few shots relating to the Twin City Irish American Club of the 1950s.
MacCafferty’s Menus: We recently purchased a set of menus from a local antique dealer that are from MacCafferty’s Pub on Grand Avenue circa 1977.
