Eoin McKiernan Television Series Collection: Newly digitized video collection of 50 television programs produced by Eoin McKiernan for KTCA-TV (St. Paul) between 1962 and 1965 including all 13 episodes of his Ireland Rediscovered series and 37 out of 40 episodes of his Irish Diary series.

Margaret Doherty Writings: Digital copy of a 413-page binder of photocopied hand-written memoirs, family genealogy, letters, poems, prayers and published articles by Margaret Doherty (1894-1981) of Scott County and St. Paul, Minnesota. Much of the writing details farm life in Cedar Lake Township, Scott County including accounts of music and dance involving Margaret, her fiddle-playing husband Tony Doherty and several other family members. Digitized from a copy supplied by her grandson Chris Cheney.


New Acquisitions: Archival Items

Na Fianna Irish Theatre Collection: One bin of archival materials from the St. Paul Irish theater company, Na Fianna. Contributed primarily by Dan Gleeson with some additional materials from Kathie Luby, this collection includes scripts, videotapes, photos, promotional flyers, letters and other ephemera relating to this theater group that was active in the Twin Cities during the 1980s and 90s.

John Davenport Bequest: 30 books from the collection of former Eoin McKiernan Library volunteer and Irish College instructor John Davenport who passed away in early 2021. The bequest includes many Irish history titles as well as books on Red River Valley and North Dakota history that reference Irish immigrant and Irish-American populations.

McComiskey/Hill Donation: 50 Irish music commercial recordings on compact disc originally from the collection of Baltimore, Maryland accordion player Billy McComiskey given to David Hill and donated by Hill.
