Description
This class will explore the parallels and connections between the deep archetypes and profound spiritual intuitions of the great Swiss psychologist, Carl Jung (1871 – 1961), and five core Irish writers: the mystic A.E. (George Russell) (1867 – 1935), the great Nobel Prize-winning poet, William Butler Yeats (1865 – 1939), the extraordinarily innovative prose artist, James Joyce (1882 – 1941), the Nobel Prize-winning playwright and novelist, Samuel Beckett (1906 – 1989) and the great female novelist, Edna O’Brien. All five intersected imaginatively in surprising ways with the work of the Swiss thinker and healer.
