Hope and renewal in Dickens’s masterpiece, “A Christmas Carol”
$150.00
It is a ghost story. It is a Christmas story. Ultimately, A Christmas Carol is the story of the redemption and reconciliation of Ebenezer Scrooge and the Christmas holiday as well. Charles Dickens was seeking a way to make money quickly. The pursuit turned into a mission and, some 180 years later, the story he told remains a Christmas favorite. Drawn from the people and places he knew well, Dickens offers hope for change and renewal at any age.
