Then, wrap up the night with the electrifying, five-piece Wild Colonial Bhoys, delivering their signature Celtic rock energy. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move inside the Celtic Junction.
This concert marks a pivotal milestone as CJAC introduces a membership program for the first time in its 15-year history, and we want YOU to be part of it.
You can either purchase concert tickets for $25 – $75 at the bottom of this page or become a member and receive free admission. Memberships are $50 for an individual adult, $75 for a couple, and $25 for young adults (ages 19-24). Youth 18 and under always attend CJAC events for free at the gate.
4-5 pm Danny Diamond and Brian Miller
Minnesota-based duo Danny Diamond (formerly of Slow Moving Clouds, Swan Lake / Loch na hEala, Mórga) & Brian Miller (Bua, The Lost Forty) brings together two of the top Irish folk/traditional musicians in the US. Their soulful and compelling live performances run the gamut from sensitive waltzes to tearaway reels, punctuated by impeccable arrangements of newly-unearthed traditional songs.
5:15 – 6:15 Mick Sterling and Cate Fierro Acoustic Quartet
Midwest Music Hall of Fame inductee Mick Sterling, alongside powerhouse vocalist Cate Fierro, leads a top-tier quartet featuring Peter Guertin on piano and Joshua Stigen on acoustic guitar. Together, they deliver an intimate performance filled with classic hits from Belfast-born icon Van Morrison along with songs by Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Amy Winehouse, and Ryan Adams. Settle in for an hour-long set of powerful and timeless songs.
7-9 pm Wild Colonial Bhoys
The Irish-American rockers from Minnesota are still going strong after 20 years! Catch the full electric five-piece band live on September 15th for a loud and proud performance. Their shows are a rollicking good time, the music is tight, the banter is lively, and they’ve honed their craft over their two-decade careers. Catch the Bhoys live – it’s Celtic Rock that ROCKS!
